The staff at the Lexington at Jackson Hole are looking forward to meeting you. Until then, here’s a little more info about us:
Ed Krajsky, General Manager
I moved to the Jackson area in 1978 from Florida for a summer job and never left. I have worked for years inside both Yellowstone and Teton National Parks and I can give you a lot of ideas on nice hikes. My wife and I love Jackson Hole and the surrounding areas. And now that our son is in college and we are not driving all over the west for hockey games, we have more time to explore again. I love to sea kayak, hike, bike ride and climb when I get the chance to do it.
Frank Lane, Sales & Marketing
I first visited the Tetons in 1983 on a cross-country tour with college friends. I returned permanently in the summer of 1984 when I accepted a seasonal park ranger position in Grand Teton National Park. While winters found me as a professional ski patroller / alpine ski coach – the next 21 summers were spent guiding on the Snake River for Barker-Ewing Float Trips. Today, my wife and three sons keep me busy but I still find time to enjoy the many recreational opportunities that the valley offers.
John Sherwood, Maintenance Supervisor
I moved to Jackson in January of 2008 to attend an Avalanche Safety course as a requirement for a position as Guide at Mount Rainier. I am a U.S. Army Veteran of 14 years. I have two teenage daughters and attended The University of Kentucky’s Business Information Systems program at Hopkinsville Community College. I am also an alumnus of the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute.
When I moved here I quickly found myself so at home with the total outdoor lifestyle in Teton Valley that I stayed! From training/competing in Ironman distance Triathlon to Climbing, Skiing, Hunting and Scuba Diving; Jackson has it all. You’ll surely meet me during your visit as I am always out and about. Please allow me to help you make the most of your stay by sharing my knowledge of the area’s activities. I look forward to meeting you.
Adena Chernosky, Operations Manager
I began working for Tim & Diana Waycott in 2002 as a front desk agent at what was then known as the Trapper Inn. As the company grew, I took on more responsibility, and am now the Operations Manager. Originally from Pennsylvania, I learned to snowboard at Stratton, Vermont before moving “out west” to conquer bigger mountains. I spent two years in Bend, Oregon, but during a visit to Jackson Hole I knew she had found a home and relocated immediately. When I’m not working at The Lexington, I’m snowboarding, reporting the snow conditions for Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, blogging, playing Magic: The Gathering, podcasting, or wakeboarding. It’s a busy life, but someone has to live it!
Liz Martinez, Accounting
I grew up in nearby Driggs, ID and have lived in Jackson for 15 years. When I’m not working at the Lexington, I’m most likely to be at Dancers’ Workshop, where I’ve worked as the Zumba Fitness instructor for the past 4 years. During the summer season I enjoy rollerblading, whitewater rafting, and taking photos of our beautiful surroundings.
Kathleen McElfresh, Front Desk Staff
I am a second generation Californian with a love of wandering and travel that started early, as a military family we moved around every few years. From California I moved to Washington State and graduated from Central Washington University with a degree in Technical Drama and used that for many years. A few years ago I started working at Glacier National Park and then Moved to Grand Teton National Park on the first day that I arrived it felt like home and made the promise that when ever the view of the Tetons did not send a thrill through me that I would leave and so far that has not happened. While living here I have been able to experience the area to its fullest and still learn something new each day, indulged in my love of horseback ridding and watch the seasons change something that was not easy in California. Best of all is that I am no longer spending long hours in busy rush hour traffic.
Elizabeth Bartek, Front Desk Staff
I was born here in Jackson, and have lived here most of my life. I enjoy skiing, hiking, and swimming, and am interested in our local history.
Patty D, Front Desk Staff
I was born and raised in a small town just south of Burlington, Vermont. After graduating college with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education I worked in the Child Care profession for the next 12 years. Who knew 14 two year olds in one big room could be that much fun! I joined the Lexington Staff in March of 2011. Who knew meeting so many different people everyday could be this much fun! I first stayed in the town of Jackson while driving from Alaska to Vermont. It was the half way point and my friend had family here. I saw my first bear near Jackson on that trip. I love the small town where I grew up in VT so I knew moving to Jackson would be a perfect fit for me. The scenery and wildlife still amaze me even after living here for 10 years. Although the Winter can seem long and the Summer is always to short, Jackson is such a unique place and I love raising my daughter here. I enjoy talking to people from all over the world and hearing the stories and experiences they have had during their visit to Jackson, Yellowstone and the Grand Teton National Park. I like volunteering with The American Red Cross as a certified CPR and First Aid Instructor. I also enjoy hiking, and rock climbing, but strangely with the 9 month winters we have I am not a skier or snowboarder…..
