From Trip Advisor:

We second all the positive reviews, below !
We also began and ended our Yellowstone/Grand Teton adventure here and would definitely return for all the positive reasons stated in all the other reviews. We particularly second the praise of the staff from the drivers to the people stocking the excellent breakfast display to the front desk personnel who were terrific in satisfying our various needs. Suggest joining the Lexington Collection Guest Reward Program for special benefits, e.g. complimentary upgrade if available.. Membership is free.

Excellent value and location
the room was wonderful. great beds, a sitting/eating area and small, but well stocked, kitchen. our room was in the main building that had a fireplace in the reception area and the breakfast room. the bathroom had the shower/toilet in a separate room withe sink/vanity in a walkthrough area, very convenient. breakfast was included and had good options. the main square was an easy 3 block walk. there are laundry facilities available on site and a pool and hot tub in a separate building.

the staff was very attentive and helpful. coffee and hot tea available in the reception area, cookies in the afternoon. the city bus stop is right across the street. the bus is free to go around the town and a reasonable $3 to go to the ski area.

Great experience
We had a terrific time staying at the Lexington in Jackson WY. The staff was very accomodating and the room was clean, spacious and worked great for our needs. The hotel is located very close to the town center, within a short walk to lots of great restaurants and shops. We even mentioned to one of the staff that we needed to go to the post office to pick up some boxes so we could mail back a few items we had purchased and she picked them up for us. There wasn’t anything they wouldn’t do to make the stay more pleasurable. If we return for another visit, we’ll definitely stay here again.

Outstanding Experience
My wife and I stayed at the Lexington in Jackson Hole for 6 nights at Christmas time. Our double queen room was lovely…spacious, clean comfortable, wonderful beds and a separate sitting room with microwave and fridge. We had two tis. Complimentary coffee and lemonade are served all day and fresh baked cookies are provided at 4pm every day. The continental hot breakfast was the best we have ever had…waffles, fruit, eggs, all sorts of rolls and bread. What a great place the Lexington is. We booked in advance and paid in advance. Our rate worked out to be $99 a night which in our experience is the best value we have ever received anywhere….let alone Jackson Hole at Christmas time.

Excellent Service, Great Location, Clean & Beautiful Rooms

I felt very at home at the Lexington. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. I work in hospitality, and I was very impressed with their eagerness to serve their guests. The front desk agent was more than happy to accommodate our room requests instead of seeing us as high maintenance. The breakfast attendant looked for opportunities to serve us in the morning and greeted each person as they arrived.

The rooms are all very new and are decorated very tastefully with a little bit of a lodge feel. It doesn’t feel like “just another hotel room.” And the sheets and the bedding – they were heavenly! (I contemplated stuffing the comforter in my bag…)

Lastly, the breakfast was a step above your standard hotel continental breakfast. There was cereal, eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt w/ berries & granola, fresh pastries, fresh local coffee, etc.

I’m from the area, so the location in town was not a big deal for me, however, I think most visitors would appreciate being only a few blocks walking distance from town square, shopping, and good restaurants.

Hands down, you should look at the Lexington if you’re visiting Jackson.

From Frommer’s:

Just 2 short blocks from Town Square, the Trapper Inn was reborn as a slick hotel when it opened 36 new rooms in a pair of attractive “mountain contemporary” buildings in 2006. The rooms are stylish and spacious — the newest are all suites that adjoin, with a kitchen in every other unit — and the employees here are some of the most helpful you’ll find in Jackson.

From Fodor’s:

This motel is within walking distance of Town Square and has some of the best-appointed rooms in Jackson… Downstairs you’ll find an open reception desk with friendly and helpful staff, free coffee, plenty of tall windows, ample sitting space, free Wi-Fi, a stone fireplace, and vintage trapper gear big enough to snare a grizzly.

From Expedia:

“Best Hotel in Jackson Hole!”
The Trapper was great. Great location, hotel staff, breakfast, and rooms. The huge hot tub and heated pool was perfect after a day on the hill. I will not stay any where else in Jackson but the Trapper. -Scott S from Clermont, FL, Posted: 11-Feb-09

“Will be back”
This hotel was perfect for our fun-in-the-snow vacation. The location was right off the SMART (public bus) stop which took us to the Jackson Hole Ski Resort in about 30 minutes. We could even buy our bus tickets at our hotel. Good clean rooms, the only drawback being that this hotel has multiple buildings so you have to walk outside between the room, breakfast and pool/hot tub. -Matt M from Chicago, IL, Posted: 14-Jan-09

“awesome stay”
